We are staying in Red Bluff but decided to come to Anderson for a little shopping. Hunger struck. Didn't want the typical fast food joint and we saw Mary's Pizza Shack. We were greeted when we walked in and she let us know how it worked. Order with her, have a seat and they'll bring the food to us. We ordered Mary's Combo thin crust and... well, it's the most delicious pizza I've had in quite a while. They did not cheat us on toppings or cheese. The sauce was phenomenal, a hint of spice that did not overpower. The seasonings were perfect. I had my Parmesan and pepper flakes at the ready, but it seemed wrong to add anything to this morsel of mmmmmmmm. I'm thankful I don't live in the area. I would visit far too often than necessary.
